Finally fiddled around with the original template color scheme until I liked it a bit better. Now I suppose it looks like every other conservative blogsite in the western hemisphere. I found some information on propaganda...the word I mean as in propaganda ... It is derived from the College of Propaganda, a committee of cardinals established in 1622 by Pope Gregory XV as supervising organization for foreign intrigue of the Roman Catholic church and training of the priests send roaming the world for victims of that particular form of religion. Only appropriate that the fundamentalist lunatics in the Bush administration would have considered some formal office of disinformation and double speak...and then changed their mind when the credibility of everything they said became suspect. Actually not much changed. The credibility of everything they say or write is suspect and who knows whether or not to believe they razed their plans anyway. This is fodder for some really vicious cartooning. Guess they deserve it. But, with Ashcroft having himself annointed with oil for every office he takes, it seems appropriate that the definition of propaganda would go back to a function of a religion. ------- Doug Wiken Coming Soon. The official website of South Dakota Public Propaganda. Bringing you the unvarnished distortions. Soon to be upgraded to include the NONE FORUM. Sham "discussions" that allow uncontested dispensing of propaganda and of course, THE POLITICAL GUYS who may be interupted now and than by the INANE GAL saying truly profound things like, "Aren't you afraid?", "What would your wife think?" "I know you think...", "Do you agree with what you said yesterday?". Inane Gal will do her very best to fill dead pixel time with whipped Jello for the mind. |
